Remoissenet Pere & Fils, Gevrey Chambertin Cazetiers Vintage:2015 small barrels(from a . 39 ha parcel). While there is a whisper of the sauvage present on the nose of the Poissenots, here it is front and center of the plum, spice, pungent earth and softly floral scented nose. The highly energetic, bigger and more powerful flavors are overtly muscular yet the palate impression of the gorgeously long finish remains reasonably refined thanks to the dense but relatively fine grained tannins.
