Micro-Trains 12200020 N DT&I 60' Double Plug Door Boxcar #25248 ProductID_12462114 This is a Walthers 933-3490Built by Greenville Steel Car Co. In September 1963, this 60' double plug door boxcar has riveted sides with a short, 41' 3 wheelbase. Developed in response to the rapidly changing needs of the automotive industry in the 1960s, the Ford Motor Company urged manufacturers to develop a railroad car fleet to accomodate these changes. For the first time, competing railroads and car builders cooperated to expedite development to meet the demand. The 60'
