Description
Fratelli Alessandria keeps its Barolo in oak casks for three years
This well-balanced effort should amply reward mid to even longer-term cellaring though 12 to 15 years should see it at its best
It is a powerful
succulent herbs
lingering and mildly rustic finish where the only fault is a hint of warmth
Poggio Sotto, Brunello Montalcino Riserva Size:3x750ml Fratelli Alessandria keeps its BaroloA dark, towering wine, the 2005 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is quite similar in style and personality than the straight Brunello, but it has more of a tannic spine and greater overall structure. Dark and mysterious, the 2005 is constantly changing in the glass. I imagine it will still be fabulous at age 30. This is an especially dark, almost exotic, Brunello. Antonio Galloni
