I have reviewed the 2008 vintage currently on the market now
Drink 2015-2020
The bouquet shows infinite layering and a steady evolution in the glass with tones of red cherry
There is once again fine density to the delicious and attractively textured medium weight flavors that exude a bead of minerality on the sappy and long finish that also evidences subtle hints of wood and warmth
Almost reaching perfection
Kusuda, Pinot Noir Vintage:2017 I have reviewed the 2008Earthy and savory on the nose, Kusuda's 2016 Pinot Noir reveals scents of beetroot and sous bois alongside hints of cherries and cranberries. On the palate, it shows the seamless combination of intensity and weightlessness that is the hallmark of Kusuda's wines, with supple tannins that seem to almost disappear on the lingering finish. Delicate, perfumed and stylish, it's already delicious and should only improve for the next 5 6 years.
