It features two wolves

and the choice to use color as a background or a matrix of dots between the knotwork weaves

Pictish Epona Pony Tattoo Design torc Below and WithinThe ancient Scottish Inverurie stone carving of a prancing horse is the starting point for this unique pattern. Here the representation of Epona the Horse Goddess is silhouetted against a Celtic knot, making a fine symbol of equine power and grace. Later I added below it a wreath of a bed of thistles and a spiral. History lives on in a new form.
