During another challenging year it was imperative to provide interns to assist park management strategies and to have a presence on the island where humans and horses share space and provide educational messages to keep interactions safe

She is one of the largest horses on the island and is quite timid around people

N9BFQX-D "Marina" Stallion Sonny and RenzoN9BFQX D "Marina, named by Coast Kids, was born in September of 2005. Her dam is N9BFQX "Bailey", and her sire was unnamed chestnut stallion N6GP. Marina and her dam Bailey have shared the same band throughout most of Marina's life. Currently, they can be found with N6BMT I Assateague Lightning on the Over Sand Vehicle (OSV) area near KM 21 25, and in the developed area in the summer. Marina has never produced any offspring.
