There is excellent vibrancy and detail to the silky and intensely mineral- driven medium weight flavors that possess fine length on the balanced and mildly austere finale

This is also quite heavily reduced though the energetic flavors display an attractive mineral streak that continues onto the solidly intense finish that is given form by the relatively fine tannins in the context of a villages level wine

A very deft application of wood easily allows the vaguely exotic aromas of petrol, green fruit and hazelnut to be appreciated. Here too there is excellent volume, intensity and power on the larger scaled flavors that are at once succulent yet quite serious on the decidedly firm built to age finale. This too is excellent and a wine that should effortlessly reward a decade or more of cellaring.
