Description
Composed around the harvest of 2004 with no less than 121 wines from 12 different vintages dating back as far as 1990
but this is turning out to be a very good wine that should offer pleasure for at least another 25-30 years
viognier and dried orange peel on the white peach and citrus blossom aromas
(from 1 ha of evenly mixed vines in Houlières
The Casa Matè has also closed down considerably since I last tasted it
Prager, Wachstum Bodenstein Riesling Smaragd other_regions_australia Composed around the harvest ofRich, broad and floral given it blind I might almost guess Gewurz! Such a contrast to the Steinriegel Federspiel! Though actually in this wine the balance between richness and acidity sees about right. Though there is still a lot of chew on the end so no hurry to drink. (JR)
