A spicier, and certainly fresher if still notably ripe nose reflects notes of black cherry, cassis, violet and sandalwood. The velvety, round and very generously proportioned, indeed even opulent, medium weight plus flavors tighten up considerably on the dusty, sappy and youthfully austere finale that displays fine length.
