More moderate though hardly invisible wood serves as a less than neutral backdrop for the very pretty red currant, dark cherry aromas spiked with earth and a whiff of leather. There is fine volume and richness to the solidly dense full bodied flavors that possess an attractive texture, all wrapped in a powerful, very firm and lingering finish.
