Description
The 2015 Montevertine has closed down massively since it was bottled in February 2018
richness and concentration
(made with ~60% whole clusters)
This 2008 is a little difficult to work out at the moment
and gains depth on the palate as licorice
Launay Horiot, Pommard Perrieres other_regions The 2015 Montevertine has closed(from a 2. 2 ha holding that was originally planted in 1906). A deft application of wood frames ripe aromas of plum, violet and soft earth wisps. There is fine volume and intensity to the nicely detailed middle weight flavors that conclude in a persistent, balanced and only mildly rustic finale. This is a very good Pommard villages and worth checking out. Plus this wine always ages well and the 2019 version should be no exception.
