Mangano calcite is calcium carbonate tinted soft pink by trace manganese, often with faint white banding. It is a soft mineral (Mohs 3) with a waxy translucence, turned and polished here into a smooth sphere. Calcite is soft and reacts to acids; keep it from vinegar, citrus, and abrasive cleaners, and store it apart from harder stones. One sphere per order. Natural stonecolor and banding vary from piece to piece.
