Hylaeosaurus armatus Variant:Primed 90 x 40 x 90Hylaeosaurus armatus was a nodosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 140 million years ago, in what is now Europe, specifically in southern England. It was one of the first dinosaurs to be discovered and scientifically described by Gideon Mantell in 1833, becoming one of the three original dinosaurs that led to the definition of the group Dinosauria in 1842 by Richard Owen, along with Iguanodon and Megalosaurus .
