A leather strop enhances the cutting edge by correcting small nicks and smoothing grooves. The stropping medium is a leather pad made of vegetable tanned kangaroo leather mounted on high quality aluminum. The thickness of the leather is approximately 1mm, and the thickness of the aluminum blank is 5mm.
