The structure is sturdy and made of richly worked solid gold plated brass with festoons and garlands typical of the Louis XVI era, and reinterpreted in the Empire and Art Nouveau (Liberty) periods. The upper and lower parts are adorned with faceted crystal beads. The chandelier has 6 richly decorated arms that end with opaline cups in the shape of a tulip.
