10012399 Theodor Kärner still bear witness to theAn outstanding artistic personality for Nymphenburg in the 20th century was the sculptor Josef Wackerle. Among other things, a series of magnificent majolica birds designed by the artist for the 1910 World Exhibition in Brussels, contribute to the Nymphenburg majolica collection. The colourful birds adorn the courtyard of the botanical garden and numerous other public spaces in Munich to this day.
