Fouassier owns a third of the vineyard and has marketed it as Clos Paradis since 1902. The vineyard faces south and is composed of Buzanais limestone & lit over kimridgien. The plot is surrounded by a natural hedge. If Sancerre had a cru system, it would be a grand cru.
