Switzerland's first anthroposophical senior citizens' and nursing home opened in 1984 in Hombrechtikon in the canton of Zurich. Today, over a hundred people live here; there is also space for people with dementia. The Sonnengarten offers a wide range of anthroposophical body and art therapy, as well as a rich cultural program with around eighty events a year. There
