Knig James IV kaufte bereits im Jahr 1488 in eben dieser Brauerei Bier. Ab 1886 begann die Whiskyproduktion. Erst 1947 wurden die Brauereigebude in die heutige Tullibardine Distillery umgewandelt. Seit 2011 ist die Brennerei im Besitz der franzsischen Wein und Spirituosengruppe Picard Vins & Spiritueux, die unter anderem die Marke 'Highland Queen'
